Highland Libraries’ Electronic Reference Desk – A range of databases and products; log in with your library card barcode number and/or PIN.
E-books at Highland Libraries – Using your Library Card and PIN, users can login into the secure eBook service and select up to 5 eBooks to download at any one time.
Digital Magazines at Highland Libraries – Zinio gives access to the top 50 most popular magazine titles to read on your computer, tablet, or Smartphone for free. You must create two accounts, both a library magazine account and a Zinio account to download and read magazines. Register on the libraries digital magazine web page and set-up a Zinio account.
Audiobooks at Highland Libraries – Borrowers can download over 1000 fiction and non-fiction audiobook and eBook titles from W. F. Howes direct from the OneClickDigital portal. Click on the ‘create a free account’ link above, enter your 14-digit library card number, complete the required fields and choose a password.
The Digital Commons Network – This resource brings together free, full-text scholarly articles from hundreds of universities and colleges worldwide.
Am Baile – Highland history and culture database; includes a range of image, audio and text files.
SCRAN – Access over 390,000 images, movies and sounds from museums, galleries, archives and the media.
UCAS – Online access to UCAS, the organisation responsible for managing applications to higher education courses in the UK.
